OEM Description:
Absolents oil mist ODF 2000 filter guarantees a high separating efficiency, which does not deteriorate even over long
periods of operation. The filters can run continuously 24 hours a day.
ODF 2000 oil mist filters are well suited to applications such as:
Grinding (cutting fluid emulsion)
Turning (cutting fluid emulsion)
Milling (cutting fluid emulsion)
Electrical discharge machining
Machining, using straight oil and moderate loads
The filter cassettes used in the ODf 2000 system are self-draining and have a very long operating life, which means
minimal servicing and maintenance costs. ODF 2000 filter cassettes can usually be washed.
The filtered air can usually be returned to the premises, which saves heating or cooling energy, and the returned oil can
be used for recycling.
The filters are based on a modular design which makes it possible to provide customized solutions ranging from single
units to large central installations.
Operation:
Contaminated air is sucked into the inlet in the bottom section of the assembled unit and passes through the first
pre-filter where most of the oil particles are trapped.
The pre-filter becomes saturated with oil, which is drained into a collector pan and then passes out through a return pipe.
The air then proceeds through a second pre-filter where any remaining large particles are filtered out. The air is then
sucked up through the fan and filtered through the Absolute filter, after which it is usually clean enough to be returned
directly into the premises.
