AIRLESS BLAST UNIT 

WHEEL: Two direct drive blast wheels revolves at 3600 RPM for maximum abrasive velocity. 12 in diameter wheel with 7 curved blades. Balanced wheel components assure smooth operation. 

BLADES: Cast from abrasive resistant alloy for maximum life with a unique design for easy blade replacement. 

CONTROL CAGE. : Dial type cage 

CABINET CONSTRUCTION 

CABINET: All welded and structurally reinforced cabinet, fabricated from 1/2 in wear resistant steel plate. Back wall 1/2 in Manganese.

HOOK SPINDLE: Continual rotation of hook spindle during blasting operation provides full exposure of parts to the blast pattern.

OPTIMUM BLAST COVERAGE: Maximum area provided for material to be blasted is 48 in diameter x 48 in high.

HOOK SPINDLE CAPACITY: 4,000 pounds maximum

HOOK SPINDLE SPEED: Adjustable

POWER LOCK DOOR: Electronically controlled with press button. Pneumatically operated air cylinder. The door is fabricated out of 3/8 in wear resistant plate.

ABRASIVE RECYCLING SYSTEM 

ELEVATOR: Centrifugal discharge belt and bucket elevator. Screw adjusted shaft take-ups provide positive belt alignment.

SCREENING: Primary screen in cabinet protects elevator from large objects.  A secondary screen in storage hopper provides positive blast wheel protection. 

ABRASIVE REQUIRED: 2,000 pounds initial. 

ABRASIVE CONTROL: Totally enclosed butterfly valves are air cylinder operated and fully adjustable for abrasive flow control. 

SEPARATOR: Single 20 in lip separator.

VENTILATION FEATURES 

DUST COLLECTOR: *Optional 2,000 CFM Dust Collector

ELECTRICS 

NEMA type 12 electrical enclosure, fusible disconnect switch, thermal overload protection on all motors, 230/460 volt primary, 115 volt secondary control transformer, blast wheel motor ammeters, oil tight push buttons, digital abrasive cycle timer. Timer controls both abrasive flow and blast wheel motor. Cycle alarm signal and hour meter. Table lockout for blast pattern test. 

SAFETY FEATURES 

Blast wheel operational only when door is closed. Door is electrically locked closed during blast cycle. After blast wheel shutdown, adjustable time delay allows flow of abrasive to brake blast wheels to stop before door can be opened.
