Machine build new was completed in Feb. 2014 - current owner took delivery
several months later.
Here are irepairs that have been made to this machine:
1. new rails skates - not sure haas says they just wear some times
2. Encoder - has a coolant leak that messed up
3. Counter balance cylinder has very very slow leak we have the guage
to fill maybe once a year
4. New spindle not sure why bearing locked up. We had it rebuilt by Setco
in Cincinnati
5. One of the chip auger motors is out. We just didnt fix it - it works fine
6. Tool setter is out being repaired by Renishaw. It just did communicate.
Probe works great.
I want to be completely honest and up front because I would like to be treated
the same.
Machine has been a great machine and as anyone knows ALL machines has
some little issue over all we are selling because only 4% of our work is required
to go across this machine
We are planning to replace with smaller machines
We have the guards we took off. It just easier putting big piece in it. The
coolant still stays contained.
